She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdie Jensen and Georgia Jensen (Fronce); her siblings, Gerry Jensen, Harold Jensen, Carroll Jensen, Glenn Jensen, Leo Jensen, Elsie Bammes, Leona Hanson, Doris Petty, Lloyd Jensen, Leroy Jensen, Edith Stoehr and Lucille Jensen; and her daughter-in-law Sharon Sando.
She is survived by: her children, Lloyd Sando of Leonardville, Barb Turnbull of Hastings, Anita Cohen of Manhattan and Jan Knudson of Manhattan; her sister Katie Register of Manhattan; her grandchildren, Deandra Sando-Anderson (Chris), Robin Sando-Anderson (Brian), Dolly Stanley (Dustin), Holly Sando-Vassor (Paul), Damon Turnbull (Genevieve), Aaron Turnbull and Sean Swartz; and her great grandchildren, Cassandra, Dylan, Alexzandra, Bailey, Rylee, Tori, Julian, Skye and Iona.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home (303 S Broadway St, Riley, KS 66531). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Leonardville City Cemetery (119 Nevada St, Leonardville, KS 66449).
