She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd William Howard and Manita Mae Howard (Pyles); her son Greggory Scott DePew; and her siblings, LeRoy Howard, Kenneth Howard, Sylvia Wah (Howard) and Anita Knowles (Howard).
She is survived by: her children, Victoria Howard, Douglas DePew (Gwen), Thomas DePew (Connie) and Brenda DePew; and her grandchildren, Thomas James DePew, Sarah Jane Gunther (Tom), Mario Howard (Colby), Joseph DePew (Yozelin), Christopher Howard (Krisi), Rebecca DePew, Sarah Howard, Patricia DePew Grove, Bradley DePew and Jarom DePew (Abbygayle).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hillside Chapel (2610 19th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Hillside Cemetery (2600 19th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418).
